Privacy Policy
Frog Shift is developed by Aleksa Đurošev. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Frog Shift.
1. Information Frog Shift stores
Frog Shift does not require an account and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number, photos, contacts, precise location, or other personal profile information.
Gameplay information such as level progress, stars, best moves, tutorial completion, and app settings is stored locally on your device.
We do not operate a server-side user account database for Frog Shift.
2. Advertising
Frog Shift uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display third-party advertisements.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect or process certain information, including:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate a device’s general or coarse location
- Device identifiers, including app- or developer-bounded device identifiers
- Information about interactions with the app and advertisements
- Advertising data, such as advertisements that have been shown
- Crash and diagnostic information
- Performance information, such as app launch time, hang rate, or energy usage
This information may be used by Google for purposes including providing third-party advertising, measuring advertising performance, analytics, fraud prevention, diagnostics, and improving the performance of its advertising services.
Frog Shift does not request authorization through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework and does not access or use the IDFA for cross-app tracking.
Google may use other permitted device- or app-level identifiers and technical information in accordance with applicable law, user consent choices, platform restrictions, and Google’s own privacy policies.
3. Consent and privacy choices
Frog Shift uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage privacy and advertising consent where required.
In regions where consent is required, Frog Shift requests updated consent information before requesting advertisements. Ads are requested only when the Google consent system indicates that advertising requests are permitted.
When required by Google’s consent system, a Privacy Options control is available in Frog Shift Settings so users can review or change their privacy choices.
Depending on location and consent choices, Google may provide personalized ads, non-personalized ads, limited ads, or other forms of ad delivery permitted by applicable requirements.
You can review or change available advertising privacy choices at any time from Settings → Privacy Options when privacy controls are required for your region.
4. U.S. State Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence, certain advertising-related processing may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or use of personal information for targeted advertising under applicable U.S. state privacy laws.
Where applicable, Frog Shift provides privacy choices through Google’s User Messaging Platform. You can access available controls from Settings → Privacy Options and opt out of applicable sale, sharing, or targeted advertising uses.
The privacy choices available to you may vary depending on your location and applicable law.
5. Remove Ads purchase
Frog Shift offers an optional one-time Remove Ads in-app purchase.
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Frog Shift does not receive or store payment card numbers or banking information.
Apple provides the app with information necessary to determine whether the Remove Ads purchase is owned.
When Remove Ads is active, Frog Shift stops requesting interstitial advertisements.
6. Third-party services
Frog Shift uses:
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK — advertising and related analytics, diagnostics, and ad performance
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — privacy and consent management
- Apple App Store / StoreKit — processing and restoring the Remove Ads purchase
These third parties process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
See the Google Privacy Policy and the Google Mobile Ads SDK Privacy Disclosure.
7. Data retention
Frog Shift does not maintain its own remote database of user profiles or gameplay activity.
Locally stored Frog Shift gameplay data can generally be removed by deleting the app from the device.
Data processed by Google or Apple is retained according to the policies and legal obligations of those respective service providers.
8. Children’s privacy
Frog Shift does not require users to create accounts or submit personal contact information.
Frog Shift is not specifically directed to children and is not offered as an app in Apple’s Kids Category.
Advertising and consent handling may vary depending on applicable laws, platform requirements, region, and the privacy choices available to the user.
9. Security
Frog Shift relies on Apple platform security and the security measures provided by the third-party services used by the app.
Network communications performed by the integrated services use standard secure networking technologies provided by those services and the operating system.
10. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if Frog Shift’s features, third-party services, or legal requirements change.
Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
